for those of you mourning the loss of 8tracks, ive been toying with stayed up all night as an alternative, and its REALLY good. some pointers:

  1. have as many songs by a single artist as you want, and as many songs on you want on a single mixtape
  2. can upload from youtube links
  3. fairly simplistic
  4. login with your google account or facebook
  5. the mixes are fairly self-contained: you can share via a link, going onto someones profile, or thru social media, but for right now there doesnt seem to be a search function – at least not yet? seems like they have plans for a ‘latest mixtapes’ thing.
  6. design a mixtape using different models, stickers, and doodles

overall i think its pretty neat, and its completely free too. give it a shot!
