wait would this (NA)Splatfest mean that the squids somehow excavated this from somewhere (since humans have since been long gone) and somehow revived this ‘ancient relic’ of a franchise (albeit they may or may not have adapted it to their own inky way)
i should put interesting stuff here about them yes:
coconut is an infiltrator type in turf wars and also an annoyer type. she will sneak in your base and annoy the shit out of your team while her team moves in ahead. outside of turf wars she spends her time with Sunshine window-shopping and spectating other turf wars and whatnot. she is not really a tsundere octopus but she will get Blushy Blushy
sunshine is a carefree inkling who apologizes a lot because she’s a Giant squid, so when she runs really fast or the wind blows more often than not her tentacles will give someone a big ol SLAP in the face. Sometimes people trip on them and it’s funny. she is basically a Big Sweetheart who will take her time to get every inch of the base inked. sometimes that costs her a victory, sometimes it doesn’t, people can’t get mad at Sunshine because she is too Big Sweetheart
