as black friday and the holidays slowly creep up on us 

please please please remember to be kind to cashiers and retail workers

they want to be home and out of the store just as quickly as you want to be

I guarantee they are not getting paid enough to put up with your bullshit, and whatever material crap you’re buying isn’t more important than being a decent human being to someone providing you a service. Come the holiday season I smile more, try to up the charm factor, and tip even better than usual (and I’m a damn good tipper.)

You want to spread the spirit of positive winter holidays? Remember that retail workers are human beings and deserve respect and empathy.

If you find someone’s ID or Driver’s License

Save the person from possible identity theft, DMV fees to have it replaced, and panic.

1. Take the ID to your nearest USPS mailbox.

2. Drop it in.

3. The mail person will come and pick up the mail and take the ID as well.

4. When the ID is taken to the post office it is then mailed to the address on the ID.

5. Upon delivery, the mail person will charge the ID owner the price of postage. Usually less than $1.

Usually if this is done during the week, the person will have their ID back after 1 business day.

Please remember this if you find someone’s ID in a public place.

Seriously tho cuz these DMV fees are fucking ridiculous
