the intro to harvest moon DS is so weird because the mayor insults your farm and you start attacking him with different tools and he starts spurting these anime ass villain lines like “the attack I sufferered in More Friends of Mineral Town won’t work a second time” and “that attack wouldn’t work if you waited 100 years!”
to make things funnier, the scene ends with your dog attacking the mayor and the mayor begging for your help
and you can choose to not help him
and if you choose to not help him
the mayor dies
and the game ends
and the credits roll
and you have to start again
