Gamers saying shit like buying the new middle earth game hurts the gaming industry because loot boxes but it’s all good and fine when games like Hat in Time has Jontron
a bad business practice that’s all but gambling that relies primarily on an impulsive teenage demographic (which is why teenagers aren’t legally allowed to gamble) vs a single line cameo of jontron from an optional character you don’t have to talk to at all.
per the devs themselves “If you don’t want to hear Jontron in the game, don’t talk to the owl.”
not to mention according to one review, Shadow of War is apparently all but impossible to beat unless you actually buy a lootbox and hope for a random high quality of elite uruks. all this for a sixty dollar game.
one’s apparently unavoidable if the review’s, while one’s entirely avoidable and essentially optional
¯_(ツ)_/¯

some of y’all don’t want to improve or get better because you don’t want the responsibility of thinking of people other than yourself as important and worth considering in your actions. you use dysfunction as a cover to be self-centered and bratty and then wonder why no one wants to treat you like you’re important or worth knowing.
