fuck-customers:

I am prone to headaches. They’re usually not so bad that I can’t work, but bad enough that something like a small child screaming throughout the store can seriously fuck up my day. Once there was a baby crying in my store for a long time, and the woman I was helping was on the verge of tears. I asked her if she was all right and she confided in me that she had recently suffered a miscarriage. She didn’t need to say anymore, I totally understood how the sound of a baby crying could be devastating in that situation. For some people on the spectrum, loud, persistent noises can be extremely upsetting, I know my cousin’s little boy has a lot of trouble with them. My point? You might be able to tune out your kid’s tantrum or crying, but that doesn’t mean the employees and your fellow customers can, and you don’t know what kind of impact it could have on them. If you can’t calm your child, take them outside until you can.
