please please please remember to be kind to cashiers and retail workers

they want to be home and out of the store just as quickly as you want to be

I guarantee they are not getting paid enough to put up with your bullshit, and whatever material crap you’re buying isn’t more important than being a decent human being to someone providing you a service. Come the holiday season I smile more, try to up the charm factor, and tip even better than usual (and I’m a damn good tipper.)
