Here I was mainly just thinking about juxtaposing pulsing Mind neurons and a beating Heart. Um. I’m sure there are plenty of ways to interpret it.
Mind sees splintering outcomes (or the Trouserlegs of Time, thanks Terry Pratchett), and they finally snap back together as the most advantageous timeline. Or something.
Something about pulling the thoughts/experiences of different Daves on the timeline into one Dave.
PULLING YOUR SOUL OUT IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT MOMENTS AT ONCE or something, I actually totally BS’d this and Andrew made it look totally great and legit.
Heart splits time down different possible timestreams, Mind chooses the best.
