Her name was Hope Arostine Blackwell and she was a vampire (Arostine was her Greek name…she turned in ~500 BC Athens, and she took on Hope Blackwell as a pseudonym when she moved to the Americas with early colonial settlers. She had other pseudonyms in different places but I don’t remember them anymore) She was also turned as an 8-year-old girl (and I was PISSED when I heard Anne Rice had had the child-vampire-adult-mind idea before me, let me tell you xD) I think she had been a slave because I was into the idea that Athenian girl-babies could be abandoned at birth and either die or be taken in as slaves. She was also *evil as fuck* because I rooted for the villain from a young age.

Obviously I’ve loooong since abandoned writing her, but her character stuck in my brain. So did her name, which I’ve always really liked (when other girls were doodling their first name with their crush’s last name, I was writing “Hope Arostine Blackwell” over and over again in bubbly cursive xD)
So it kind of became a pseudonym.
I watched the Zexal dub and used the first movie with “Castle” in the title that came to mind.
Almost as deep as Lady Blackwell’s.
